in for Thursday night Black captain America versus a red necked President. did Marvel put an ad on the Superbowl for this :mjpls:
I watch the Super Bowl online via Tubi and I did not see one ad for this movie but saw multiple ads for the Thunderbolts, a movie that's not coming out until May. But zero ads at the biggest event that has the most eyes for a movie coming out the following week.

:mjpls: I guess they where trying to one up superman by teasing The Sentry. but not advertising for a guaranteed 100million + audience is crazy or planned malicious compliance.

Wouldn’t make sense from a business standpoint to spend $8 mil on a 30 second TV spot for a film that has already been marketed to death and comes out in less than a week, but y’all go off.

It's a conspiracy. They put 100s of millions of dollars into a movie just to emasculate a Black man by not advertising at the last minute so it flops. Do the knowledge. lol

You never get too complacent on advertising. Super Bowl is one of the few events each year that is sure to get the most eyes and viewers so it makes perfect sense to promote your products there.

Plus, if people are not coming out to Cap 4 then they probably won't be coming out to Thunderbolts either.

No wonder why did every other movie coming out this summer passed.

That wasn’t being complacent, though. The marketing campaign for this started six months ago. It’s had plenty of time to shine. Thunderbolts had never aired a TV spot until Super Bowl Sunday.

This flick could end up being a success and the Coli would still find a way to get them tin-foil conspiracies off. Shyt’s actually tracking to do well, but you wouldn’t be able to tell in this thread.:pachaha:

Marvel Studios has quite literally never aired a Super Bowl ad for a movie that’s within 1-2 weeks of release. Them shyts cost way too much bread to be doing that, lol.

I could MAYBE see them doing it for something like the Avengers, but those movies wouldn’t be dropping in February in the first place.

this movie doesn't have a low floor or a high ceiling. i fully expect to come here this weekend and say, "that was aight. not bad." i think i might prefer this more than seeing all the huge hype blockbusters of the past few years that basically all disappointed
