so mackie was fine as (wisecracking, sarcastic humor) sideman falcon. "wisecracking, sarcastic humor" being mackie in real life.
kinnaman was good as "silent and brooding" in altered carbon. emphasis on "not saying too much while letting the asian versions of him head the emotional burden of the character"
people criticise them too and hemsworth has MiB4 to show for his efforts to become a leading man/hero

kinnaman has a lot of lemons in his filmography. good in 2D action role in suicide squad .. not good in robocop, especially compared to the original actor.
To be fair to Kinneman, that Robocop role was hollow as fukk.
I actually enjoy Kinneman. His voice makes me laugh. Could you imagine him as Batman talking to Gordon.

Grant Morrison is a legend but that quote is stupid. It's born out of resentment for criticism of bad/lazy writing and a storyteller's inherent agreement to remain beholden to the rules of their own game
When a storyteller breaks their own rules or continuity it's like letting a nikka travel full court because he brought the ball. Suspension of disbelief is a two party agreement

I saw the movie a few weeks ago and it was bland and forgettable in my opinion. Another one and done. You know, I recently rewatched Captain America: TWS and Infinity War, and I was just as engaged in those films as I was the first time. Then I put on Spider-Man: NWH and Deadpool & Wolverine, and they just faded into background noise. That seems to be par for the course with the MCU these days: make a film loaded with fan service, rake in a billion dollars, and then when the moment wears off, people realize the movies they once lost their minds over were actually flawed, lazy, uninspired messes.
