lol, the #1 predictor of corruption is economic disparities. The greater the wealth gap, the more likely there will be corruption, because the rich have so much money that they can pay off virtually anyone and the inequalities ensure that there are plenty of people who want to take a bribe.

Poor governance is probably a better indicator of mental health than the economic system. For example, our Canadian brethren are doing better than us with the same economic system. Our French and Swiss colleagues are doing better than both of us in north America. And we all got the same economic system.

Of course mental health problems existed before capitalism. Imagine only knowing the same 100 people all your life, you and the people you love die earlier, bad people don't have to worry about police or society rules etc.

I’ve been a socialist for half of my life, ever since I was in my late teens and became acquainted with kropotkin, malatesta, Bakunin, and others…I also read a number of Marxist works, and it all mad sense to me. I used to have quite an extensive collection of socialist books but through the sands of time they’ve been lost. I’ve replaced a number of them, but the internet has made reading even the most obscure texts as easy as a simple search.

While I do feel that socialism is rational and grounded in socioeconomic expediency, I view it in much more humanist terms that many may not agree with. At the end of the day I just fukking hate bullies…a capitalist is a bully stealing from me and you.
