Government regulations are not there for the small guy, they aren't there for the weak. That is just the excuse they sell you to get you to support your own enslavement. that just means that that is something to watch out for, the main cure for that is pushing for individual rights along with capitalism
but anybody that thinks there is an alternative to capitalism is delusional or a marxist (same difference)

I'd say it's more than a theory.
American antitrust law basically acknowledges that the goal of every individual firm is monopoly...and monopolies themselves are not illegal if based on superior quality of goods and services. But still, if the EXPLICIT goal of every competitive firm is to monopolize, then the incentive to maintain that monopoly illegally is inherent in capitalism. That's just something we have to live with, seeing as how competition is still generally the best way to allocate resources.
