How was sfv a flop?

Because it released barebones and alienated both hardcore for its simplistic gameplay and the casual who just want to mash against the AInin arcade. SF is basically a niche franchise now. I understand won’t step up and helped offset dev cost but you basically cut off a player base and allowed NRS games to hold the crown

The only other person that has heard the exact same things is Maximilian Dood and it’s very likely one of the reasons why Ono was dropped from Capcom. Anybody else that would probably know is likely under NDA.
