I find it hard to believe he can't find a better job in Texas in the same field

fukk Arizona!

I'm assuming OP just wants to move out of Texas if his options are all out of that state. Cause yeah those jobs in the Alarm Tech field are literally everywhere in every city. Maybe no other job in his area gave him a chance because he's probably green and they don't want to train. Not sure

Not really
I was having a hard time finding work for months.
These two jobs offers literally came at the same time.

If no one is hiring you in Texas, I would go to Arizona

Seems like the guy for the Fire Alarm Technician job is really interested in hiring you. Go where the jobs are. Seems like you are young. Get that experience for at least 2-3 years, then after that you can literally write your own ticket and make as much money as you want

LinkedIn is the devil, but I'll definitely take this advice
Yes definitely.

Think about Life Work balance too.
The guy who wants to hire me as low voltage electrician apprentice says there is shortage of people in that particular career field. The fire alarm technician specifically.
If you are going to do this, you have to be dedicated and stick with it for a couple years.

There is good career stability with this.
Job listing in NYC.
Fire Alarm Technician
