I need some feedback

I recently received two job offers

One job is in Tucson, AZ as an aircraft painter. It pays pretty well

The other gig is a low voltage electrician installing fire alarms in school districts in the DFW area. Pay is low but there is a decent chance for career advancement.

I currently stay in Fort Worth and to be honest I like it here, but finding a decent paying gig is tough right now in this job market.
Have you been to Tucson before?

Long term health being considered, I would stay away from aircraft painter. Even though I’m sure you’ll use your PPE, its a job associated with some nasty chemicals ( e.g. hexi chrome)
Yup low key/ high key why I want to do something different. The money is good working on aircraft, but your dealing with all types of chemicals, aircraft fuel, noise pollution, etc

Low Voltage Electrician as an alarm tech has a 100x bigger upside. I used to work a similar job. You can make six figures with experience, on top of having alot of avenues for difference types of jobs in Electrical Controls. Also, it's easier to make money on side jobs if you want to go that path as well

I also traveled all over the Southwest. Tucson is pretty cool, low humidity, outdoor activites, doesn't get as hot as Phoenix or Vegas, decent things to do, etc

The guy who wants to hire me as low voltage electrician apprentice says there is shortage of people in that particular career field. The fire alarm technician specifically.

I know why I wrote it that way, eventually you’ll want to shine on your own since aircraft painting it’s you and other painters where you don’t really stand out but in a body shop you’re king and you can even open your own shop.
