but for real....no matter how you scored it, cotto got beat the fukk up. I mean he could barely stand up by the end of the fight. how many times did his legs almost give out?....I said months ago canelo's body work will be much more effective than cotto's. canelo's uppercuts were a thing of beauty, but it was those body shots that really made the difference. pretty sure cotto gonna be walking funny for a few weeks. this fight definitely took a major toll on him.

He won 4 rounds on my card and a lot of the rounds Canelo won were close rounds. Many people in this thread thought he won 5+ rds with what was clearly the wrong gameplan. I don't think it's a stretch to say he could have got a W using the style that Canelo still has problems with imo. Canelo still resets when you give him a jab or a 1-2 with movement & he still follows guys.
