Canelo vs Cotto Face Off

I don't see anything different with cotto. vs geale he was still wide open for the straight right off that left hook the body. that's actually when geale was able to catch him. cotto stopped throwing the left hook to the body in the past because everybody was training for it and timing him. canelo will be prepared for them body shots. it's most likely the strategy his gameplan revolves around. cotto is still there to be hit off his body work...he just hasn't faced anybody lately who could exploit it. ever since trout, cotto has pretty much had a comfortable time in the boxing ring....it's been a while since he's had to fight fire with fire. when he starts getting tagged by a strong fighter in his prime, we're gonna see if he's really improved or if this mean streak was just a case of perfect matchmaking. I think it'll be a great fight either way, with both guys being hurt. but cotto will take more and ultimately accept defeat.

Knew Young Jalisco Red would be ready for that left hook and Cotto's body attack. He was countering cotto with ease all night.


Cotto is the SAME exact fighter he was before roach....exactly the same. They matched him up with the perfect guys to make him look great. Prime Martinez woulda beat that ass the same way
