As much as I anticipate this Canelo/Kirkland fight being exciting as fukk, I have to admit to being a bit disappointed that Cotto is acting like a puta.

Now I have been more pessimistic about Floyd and Manny actually fighting than most people but what happens if that fight gets made and Canelo has already moved on?
Cotto's options lessen incredibly.

This fight has potential for some serious fireworks. Kirkland is a kamikaze where if you don't get him & early he'll get you. Props to Canelo for taking a dangerous fight like this. Especially from a southpaw with real power unlike Lara. If Canelo doesn't get him early look for Kirkland aka Lloyd Banks to be walking him down. This is the first pressure fighter Canelo will be fighting with the power to stretch him.

It's a dangerous fight on paper and could very well play out that way in the ring, but james will be coming off a long layoff.
