If Jacobs's corner really told him he was winning at any point after the 4th, they should be fired immediately.

How the fukk do you tell Jacobs he's winning this fight after the 10th? :dead: Dude had to scratch and claw just to get back in it, and you give him carte blanche to throw all that effort away and ensure it was for nothing? Just ludicrous.

Yep

I personally never think if you throw more and land much less than your opponent that you’re going to win that fight.

Canelo threw less and landed more... thats a W to me.

Plus his defense looked great. I think Danny switching stances threw him off a lil bit and broke his rythym/momentum for a moment.

he didn't land more, all he landed was the jab and Danny took that way when he switch to southpaw and the last 4 rounds he was beating Canelo up

The Truth
DA says he thought Danny won too

I don’t see that shyt. The busier fighter isn’t always winning to me

Canelo threw less and landed more... thats the same shyt Floyd used to have to go through. You throw less punches and land significantly more punches you usually win imo

That could’ve been it as well, i barely noticed his knee was wrapped

It was just something I subconsciously noticed because Canelo was about to run away with this fight until Jacobs went southpaw

Not saying that Canelo was hurt by anything Jacobs threw out of southpaw but it made him start to have to think more and took him out of his rhythm a lil bit
Yea there was never a point where Danny was in control. He had some nice flurries but canelo completely toyed with him the first half. The 2nd half canelo wasn't as sharp but he was still able to take rounds with activity. Danny simply wasn't active enough. He would win a round then take the next one off. Never really put his foot on the gas but you you gotta give canelo credit for that. Everytime Danny came in with a flurry, canelo would land at least 1 or 2 haymakers that spun Danny's head around. I think that's another reason Danny was hesitant. Canelo was landing some heavy shots everytime he came in. You're gonna have to take serious punishment in order to land on canelo.
