Jacobs just didn’t do enough. It was the same problem with the GGG fight. He wasn’t clearly outclassed in either fight he just fight too passive at times...that’s crazy tho. Just a lil more effort in his fights and he would be at top of P4P charts.

His defense looked great up to a point. By the 7th round he looked like a gassed Canelo but not the usual gassed Canelo. He recovered really well.

If he didn’t win the 11th it would have been a draw on my card that was his best round after 6

I don’t think he was that gassed honestly

Canelo has been working on his stamina for years. He proved that moving up to middleweight because that was his biggest flaw.

Jacobs was being aggressive and Canelo was looking to counter and leaning on the ropes. His momentum stopped when Danny switched stances and Canelo started getting hit a lil bit more out of southpaw stance and it threw him off.

You can tell because at one point Danny was on the move and Canelo didn’t expect him to move to his right while trying to cut off the ring and was frozen for a moment.

Thought Canelo banked enough rounds in to win the fight but i got to say despite his boxing IQ which is high. this is the worst i've seen Canelo look in a while. Granted Danny is bigger, was never going to fight shook against him and we all know Danny has legit power too but Canelo wasn't reacting to those body shots very well. Gassing out will always be a problem as well no matter what. Just a 'ehh' fight to me, didn't look all that great but i've seen worse.

Jacobs should have landed to Canelo's body more. He was jabbing and throwing hooks to the body and landing well, but didn't build on it.

He needs to fight Billy Joe Sanders and Charlo, then that will be it for the middleweight division cause others have no chance at beating him. Maybe after move up to 168 and claim one belt or have a money fight with Eubanks Jr

Danny's body language seems like he knew he lost. It's easy to tell a fighter to be more active. But when you fight somebody like canelo that shyt is dangerous. Canelo is so fast and defensively sound, that you can't really sit down in your shots without getting hit with some bombs.

fukk all that. Canelo is only great for the first 6 rounds.
