The link you posted was from July 16th, 2015.....and it didnt include the fact Rigo turned down $1.5 million to face Loma & said himself that he wouldn't move up to 126 to face Loma either:sas1:

From November 20th, 2015:mjpls:

Sounds like a duck to me breh:sas2:
:bryan:
I'd rather call him delusional (which he is btw...) than duck but oh well... :to:

Rigo's killing his own career too, not just others. That's why it would be good for him to finally move up and beat some names there. At first people will be more brave to fight him I guess because they gonna think "This guy was small even in 122, I can take him now :childplease:" but after the fight... other featherweights will be like :whoa:

Trust me, I used to think the same thing too breh.....but once he passed up on the opportunity to face Loma on HBO for $1.5 million (a $$$ amount that was 3x more than what Nicholas Walters was offered to face Loma and 2x more than what Rigo got paid to face Nonito Donaire:snoop:), it made me think he's the same as everyone else. He wants to pick & choose his opponents, so his career is where it belongs imo:manny:

Yeah, I love Rigo's talent and think he's amongst the Top 3 most skilled fighters today....but I gotta call it fair in regards to him in order to be able to talk about the fighters I don't like:manny:

AB is the only fighter I blindly :cape: for...but I am always biased in that discussion since he's my fave fighter period:heh::yeshrug:

You guys are much more knowledgeable about the sport than 90% of the people I follow on twitter. Most debates I have on here, I always end up taking something away from your observations that I didn't see before...even if I don't let yall know that:obama:

Easily my favorite place/people to talk Boxing with by far:salute:

I guess you saw him fighting before.
I think he stayed the same, don't think that he transformed into a mini Golovkin.

mini Golovkin would be Roman Gonzalez but he is more accomplished and probably a little better
Mikey is nothing like a mini Golovkin. To say that Roman G is better than Mikey RIGHT NOW, is fine, but in general? I'ma need receipts for that.

Mikey has never had an issue outside of a Flash KD by Rocky Martinez, and getting a TKO after an intentional headbutt broke his nose against Salido (some say he quit there--I don't agree, plus he knocked down Siri like 5 times in the first 3 rounds).

I would agree with @GREENandYELLOW that he fought somewhat like Golovkin on Saturday (after feeling Rojas's power he just took his shots and closed the distance until he could get his off), but I don't think that's a permanent thing. I think when he goes back to 135, we'll see his jab n feel out the first 4 round process return, beat the dude's ass for a few rounds then knock em out in the 8th or 9th like before. Mikey's left hook is so goddamn powerful. :wow:

I didn't say he is a mini Golovkin I said he is not

and the Roman G part... I meant that to Golovkin not Mikey

I didn't remember all that...$1.5 million not enough? That is more than what was offered for the entire Loma-Walters fight. :francis:

I do remember people saying they thought the fight had a good chance to get done, if Rigo would agree because Loma was already down, and then Rigo put on that stinker performance on the PPV and Bob Arum/HBO told Rigo the offer was off the table and they didn't want him part of any broadcasts.

Another Gold Medal
Rigo claiming he willing to move up to 126 for Frampton, but that's funny, because when Loma wanted to fight him at 126, Rigo asked for a 124 catchweight + a rehydration clause....PLUS big money:wow:

:sadrigo:

low key I wished the gawd was still at 126 right now, he would run through everyone named in this thread :birdman:
