Which fight did you like better; this one or the porter/thurman scrap?

I thought Thurman/Porter was the more entertaining competitive scrap. That's my FOTY so far with Salido/Vargas close behind.

Frampton/LSC was a very good fight too, even though it was competitive, it wasn't dramatic enough to be in the running. Frampton just controlled shyt to the point where LSC needed something big in order to turn it around and I never saw that coming. Thurman and Porter felt like shyt could go to the next level at any moment.

Frampton//LSC is what every boxer/volume swarmer match up should look like though. Both styles having their moments, with one just imposing itself just a lil more than the other.

Keep that nikka off my tv. Last night was a good close exciting fight. I had LSC winning but I salute frampton. He fought his ass off.

Rigo had his shot on hbo, and he put me to sleep. I hope to never see him on TV again tbh

i honestly dont know what Rigo was thinking that night...he has the power to put a lesser fighter away early...he did that on his last contracted fight under TR (although it was kind of a sucker punch lol)..he fukked up that opportunity so bad :smh:

if any of these fighters could exploit their reach advantage over Frampton though... :manny:
but they don't

guess he didn't face a pure boxer on that level yet
I picked LSC in the predictions thread and it bothered me a bit, because in general I haven't thought much of LSC and didn't feel he was a true best in division type fighter. I did however think that his size and stamina was going to best Frampton, because even if Frampton struggled to make 122, he doesn't look the part of a guy as big as LSC and vs. Quigg he had stamina issues. Props to Frampton for not letting those be deciding factors. I did have some issues that because Frampton looked good in the fight, he started to get some master boxer props in the thread. Not sure I believe that. Frampton seems like a guy who can do a lot of things well, but not sure he is great at anything in particular. I still think a pure boxer frustrates the hell out of Frampton. 117-111 was a little wide, but don't see how anything other than a Frampton decision should have been the outcome. When the announcer started going into the cards and didn't lead in by saying we have an unanimous decision, I was getting ready for a fukked up decision, but glad it didn't happen.

The Mikey Garcia fight was good. I think it is good he is planning to go down to 135, I don't think he is quite ready for 140 yet. I do find it interesting how the announcers continued to refer to Mikey as a skilled thinking technician, yet it looked a lot like watching a GGG fight...

And Mauro needs to stop...that was maybe the most annoying performance by a broadcaster I have ever heard.

Who said he was a master boxer :francis:

He was doing high level stuff against a top guy (and a good fighter+undefeated+champion) in a popping weight class and got props for it. He did a little bit of everything :ohlawd: and is getting well deserved props for it.

preach...

I remember that Teon Kennedy fight tho. He beat that nikka so bad, Max said it should have counted as 2 losses. :mjlol:

but real talk, Frampton fought Quigg (when cats thought he was ducking him) and then fought LSC (who most picked to beat him) all in one year.

and now nikkas is giving him shyt for not fighting Rigo (who isn't trying to fight anybody above career mode jobber status his damn self)

Talk about living off of yesterday. That's Rigo's claim to fame and nikkas is still going :ooh:whenever he KO's some bum that he's supposed to:childplease: every 8 months or so.

I guess you saw him fighting before.
I think he stayed the same, don't think that he transformed into a mini Golovkin.

mini Golovkin would be Roman Gonzalez but he is more accomplished and probably a little better
