In illustrator I use a tablet and the blob brush tool. I find it inks much more cleaner outlines than using the pen tool and you can colour much easier as well.

I finessed my job for a Photoshop and Illustrator license. I've been playing with Illustrator. It's a dope program. I have an idea for a webcomic but I'm not sure I have the time nor talent to really do it the way I want.
