Can you be taught to be a movie star or u just born with it?

Wolf of Wall Street was an it movie. People were generally like fukk them pretentious reviews.

Had an It directer.

Great ensemble.

The Story itself was also trending.

I don't know what there was not to like. Leo was great, the rest of the cast was good, Jonah Hill had me weak

It was a good story, based on a true story and obviously Scorsese shot it beautifully

A lot of the time it's just circumstance or the the right role...then ppl watch your next one off that strength. Studio and media get behind you and make you must see.

Why is it gable was that much more of a star than powell, when the latter had more talent, charisma, similar looks?

once and all attended acting school/art house apprenticeship.
and or both in some capacity in general.
acting is a learned actual skill from a school apprenticeship in general.

so no in general,...
superstar are not born with it.

they are taught a skill.

Leo is a great actor no doubt, but does he make or break the movies he's in? The Revenant is a curious case, but that movie still had great reviews.

Watch Arnold in those body building videos from the 70's before he started doing movies. Dude was a star before he ever learned to act.
