I feel like Tom Cruise, Denzel, Will Smith.. etc. were just born to be movie stars

Yeah. I know this may be a bad example but when I see skits and stuff online like RDCworld1 Mark is the one who stands out the most because he's the only one that actually knows how to be on camera.I think most people’s perception about acting is wrong. That’s why you have just bad ideas about what it means to be a good actor. Most actors are just channeling themselves, not being too different than they already can be/are
chris pratt, chris evans, chris hemsworth,
all had to learn how to be superstars

This. That’s why casting is important. You want the character come naturally and not seem like one is trying. There are instances where one has to act like Heath Ledger (RIP) as The Joker.I think most people’s perception about acting is wrong. I'm saying. None of the Chris' are anywhere near superstars. Pratt's the only one that has done anything majorly successful outside Marvel and that was an already established franchise. It's why I found it hilarious that some Marvel stans were mad at Mahershala getting Blade. That's quite possibly the best leading actor/actress y'all have ever hadDowney Jr. is the guy. He always was. Even before Iron Man and him becoming the biggest name in the MCU people were waiting on Downey Jr. to become a superstar for years.. he was always "next".. It was simply his drug habits that were keeping him away from completely breaking out. For years everyone knew Downey Jr. was gonna be huge if he cleaned up.
