I've seen them call the cops on their ex husband and claim he threatened to kill her and then just a few minutes of police work proves it to be horse shyt. There's a whole episode of svu where the ex wife tries telling benson and stabler that her ex raped her (as it turns out he never did), and nobody believes him. Episode and with him dousing her in kerosene and lighting her on fire. Not a soul on this planet as motivated to lie about someone as much as an ex wife.

up until that series in 11' when wade used his last bit off elite fuel against the Mav's, he was always on the floor after contact, and sometimes with no contact....

His skillset and athleticism is what made him, his ball IQ is suspect and he hasn't developed veteran longevity tangibles... It's either put up or walk away after this season for homes... Watching that highlight clip someone posted earlier would bring tears to a true Wade fan, he's fell off tremendously...

An elevated testosterone level actually means that his ratio of testosterone to epitestosterone was significantly greater than 1:1. Normal body chemistry dictates that those chemicals are produced roughly concurrently; steroid use artificially inflates the T/E ratio by a significant margin -- often greater than 10:1, in fact. Typical T/E ratio tests even allow for up to a 4:1 ratio to count as a "negative" reading, which by itself is generous as even such a level is a possible indicator of steroid use (although in athletes I suppose it is more reasonable for such ratios to exist naturally).

Same. For some reason though, my brother (the fair weather Knicks and lakers fan, maybe the most pitiful creature in all of sports) claims he's busting his ass on defense and after 2 minutes of the video dismisses it as not being bad or lazy defense. Guy looks like James harden out there.

Trust me I know, but I think it's more mobility than anything else. Back when he was in his prime he was basically the teams only shotblocker. Defensively, he was the anchor as a 6'4" guard. It's not like he woke up one day and forgot how to play defense. I think his lack of chasing his man or picking people up is because he legitimately lacks the physical ability to do so or it's painful as shyt, or his conditioning is fukking terrible. I don't know what it is, but I wonder if this laziness is just inflamed joints or something.

With all of the motion that San Antonio is running, it's got to be havoc on his joints, and it's probably why he's running around without a care in the world half the time. Towards the recent years is when he stopped hustling but in his prime he ALWAYS ran back and always hustled his ass off.
