Can we take the time to appreciate the underrated and overhated work of Sami Zayn

That's the space that he is and should be. I just hope he doesn't let "getting held back" fukk up his career like the John Morrison's of the world.
John Morrison is the current Lucha Underground champion and has been one of that company's top guys since day one though. :yeshrug:

Sam Zayne. Could be the next big face of the wwe. He's a underdog

Breh he ain't no damn underdog:heh:

Rey mysterio was an underdog

Daniel Bryan was an underdog

How the hell you gon be an underdog at damn near 6'4".:what:

Gotta be the tallest vanilla midget I've ever seen before.

Dude has no personality & he's extremely generic in the ring.

I found it hilarious how Joe said he was just happy to be there.

That's how it should be. He's not a main eventer & he's certainly not universal title material.:yeshrug:

I get it, his look is a little bit silly and he has no gimmick, but hes put in work on the main roster and time and time again he could easily been lost in the shuffle and relegated to jobber status but he's stayed afloat every single time. Not to mention he had about 3 WWE MOTY contenders last year, had 2 pretty memorable feuds with KO and Braun, and never delivers a bad match. He's a solid talker as well and I feel like once he cleans up the parts of his game that are holding him back from being a true main event guy, he'll be a future world champ

He damn sure isn't a solid talker..good in the ring and a good face for kids I suppose but he's not Nakamura, AJ, or Joe across the board.

Philly. Fucc a Eagle. I mean dat.
Nah, I actually came around on him a bit after his promo on raw. The match vs Joe will be good, he will carry him fine, but my real point is a pure babyface that the crowd likes and can make other guys look good is pretty valuable. He needs a more defined character to me, but he has something WWE will always need.

What IS over...Is that he isn't a world champion. At last not a #1 champion guy. He's a mid card babyface for life. And honestly that's okay....

They should change his gimmick to being the guy who is the REALLY good wrestler and have him challenge anyone and everyone...

Goldberg
Brock
Rusev
Cesaro
Strowman
KO
Jericho
Rollins

being a really good wrestler isn't always about being the biggest or strongest. Have him win an upset against Strowman because he uses the ropes during a 2 count or beats him during count out or something like that. Have him play up his "veteran of the indies" steez...It would at least give some type of direction :yeshrug:

At his current state, he isn't. Unfortunately he just has no discernible personality apart from upbeat guy and no actual look/gimmick besides taxi stripes and a cabbie hat. But I truly believe if those things are changed and he's given a re-packaging in some ways, he's easily a main event talent

Very talented but fans overrate the fukk out of him.

Most of the audience hasn't been following this guy his whole career like most hardcore fans. Hell most fans haven't even seen his work in NXT. WWE just threw him out there as some guy and he's just not building a connection with the audience.

Just because someone is a dope in ring performer doesn't mean they should be the face of the company.

any time someone clowns Sami is for the look, no one really denies in ring ability

He's good in the ring, but he looks, walks, talks and acts like a fukkin geek. And he seems a little off mentally, he might have a touch of something that hasn't quite been diagnosed yet. Anyway, he's mid-card at best for his career and that's fine, you need guys like that.

When I was a kid I never thought I could be a wrestler. Even dudes like Owen Hart were jacked up and had huge personalities. Imagine watching the Rock and thinking you could do that... nope.

Nowadays a lot of these guys, Sami included, just look like regular dudes. Makes you feel like you could hit up a wrestling school, learn the game and then you got a shot to make it.
