Lesnar is the legit last star they have and you nikkas think Vince is going to get rid of him :dead:

If you dudes are still trying to make yourselves believe Brock ain't a draw cool but he is one of the few names left casuals know that isn't a broken down old man.

Brock is an important lesson to be learned in business if you don't determine your worth someone else will do it for you. :wow:

might as well put the low smackdown ratings on Brock too because he ain't on that show either ........wait a minute isn't smarkdown where AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Bryan are the focal point bet they really bringing in the ratings

Everything you just typed really applies to Ronda.

Can anyone honestly tell me what Brock brings to the table and why he deserves this ridiculous contract. To this day I still don’t understand.

Ratings- Worse than they have ever been. Even when he does show up, the difference isn’t much.

PPV Buys- He doesn’t make any difference to PPV buys due to the network.

Attendance- It’s down significantly, but most Raw and especially PPV’s are always or close to sellouts. Obviously he doesn’t do house shows.

Matches- Couple of great matches in the past 3-5 years, but for the most part all have the same formula and are pretty shytty.

Legitimacy- Now someone mentioned, Brock brings legitimacy to his reign. I can see that, but let’s be honest, all legit UFC fans know Brock is a mediocre fighter. It’s only the WWE that presents him as someone who was dominant in UFC when we all know he wasn’t.

So again I ask, what has Brock done to deserve this type of contract?

Attendance, Buys, and ratings have nothing to do with him.

If anything i’d be asking why the WWE isnt utilizing him better to combat those negatives.

:edit:

I should say, attendance, buys, ratings cant solely be blamed on him. Hes the champ so he deserves some of the responsibility, but hes only one person and this is after a Roman injury.

In a way, Brock is getting the old school Andre the Giant/Hulk Hogan push in that you don't see him on TV very often and he only fights on select PPVs. At this point in his career it makes sense to treat his few appearances a year as something important. However, that doesn't mean he needs to be the champ for years on end.

Pros: character wise he's from the RA era (possibly the most stacked roster they ever had) and has ALWAYS been protected. He's beat some of the biggest names in pro wrestling throughout his entire career. He went to the UFC and became champion. For a long time he has been known for his accolades outside the WWE. He's had memorable matches, credible title runs, and some "WWE moments" you won't forget, like throwing the handicapped kid down the steps, SSP on his own head, wearing a sombrero to make fun of Eddie Guerrero, and generally being the WWE Goldberg who was decimating opponents while he was still young and impressive in the ring. Even his unceremonious leaving of the company where he flipped the finger to everyone was something that people remember. Then later he comes back and he's treated as a big deal. He wasn't no "It's ... it's Christian" or anything like that. That time he casually destroyed John Cena. When he ended the Wrestlemania streak for the Taker. There's more but you get my point, his in-ring character has strong credibility and he is also from another era that fans remember fondly. Guy's a HOF without any doubt. I don't have a problem with his "super protected character" or making him look stronger than everybody else. He could probably lay out Braun in a real fight with no problem.

Cons: He's unable to be the wrestler he once was. Doesn't do shyt to promote his matches besides have Paul Heyman blow hot air for ten minutes and maybe walk in to F5 someone maybe, two or three times a year. Looks sort of flabby and isn't quite the same "monster" since he got ill. Isn't motivated at all to work, but you might get one decent match a year depending on his opponent and if he gives a shyt. Shows up and looks like he's running through the motions every single time. He's hustling the fans and Vince and everyone knows it.

I can see why they push him like they do, in fact Brock only showing up a few times a year isn't the problem. It's making him the champ and failing to deliver anything interesting with that promise. His character is stagnant and his matches are boring. Basically I'm fine with him being in the company and being protected like he is, I'm not fine with him being a boring and lazy champion.

I never cared for him at any point of his career. Its kinda cool to see an agile big man but then he started only doing suplexs so he doesnt even have that going for him anymore

Exactly how I feel

Lesnar does nothing for me
