Can we have a legit discussion about Brock Lesnar

Can anyone honestly tell me what Brock brings to the table and why he deserves this ridiculous contract. To this day I still don’t understand.

Ratings- Worse than they have ever been. Even when he does show up, the difference isn’t much.

PPV Buys- He doesn’t make any difference to PPV buys due to the network.

Attendance- It’s down significantly, but most Raw and especially PPV’s are always or close to sellouts. Obviously he doesn’t do house shows.

Matches- Couple of great matches in the past 3-5 years, but for the most part all have the same formula and are pretty shytty.

Legitimacy- Now someone mentioned, Brock brings legitimacy to his reign. I can see that, but let’s be honest, all legit UFC fans know Brock is a mediocre fighter. It’s only the WWE that presents him as someone who was dominant in UFC when we all know he wasn’t.

So again I ask, what has Brock done to deserve this type of contract?

I’ve been wondering the same thing. The only thing I can think of is with the company bringing in more money than ever, they’re willing to dump money on a special attraction. Even if that special attraction isn’t really moving the needle as much as we expect.

if you’re asking about his contract details monetarily, well it should matter zero to us fans since we aren’t signing his checks.

If you are asking about the merits of his schedule: I think it’s pretty simple. The dude is a commodity. When he shows up, the crowd pops. The reaction he gets is strong in any arena. He’s worth having around in that regard purely as a spectacle.

But the question “what has Brock done to deserve this type of contract” lacks the rationale that the person asking (you) isn’t the one who decides what is earned. That’s not a diss either but clearly his boss feels that he is worth whatever investment he’s making.

But being honest no other athlete in the WWE has been the UFC heavyweight champion, was on an NFL roster at one time, and commands the attention that. Brock does. Some people walk into a room and people innately pay attention, Brock is one of those people

To me Brock brought that feeling back from watching as a kid with guys that seemed like legitimate bad asses in there fukking each other up. Always loved Brock's matches until they fell in love with this suplex city shyt. Lost interest quickly after that.
