Honestly no hate my brother, but how old are you? Jazz isn't usually appreciated till one's mid 20's.

i used to hate jazz and find it boring, now im 28. i cant listen to this drug dealing curse every other word music.

I bump jazz, its so ah heartwarming, it calms me, it lifts my mood.

I'll let you cook in ya thread....jazz sampled hip hop is cool..but straight jazz..naw..take that shyt back to the 1930s..ain't got time for that..music progressed since now..don't need to listen to miles Davis blowing thru a damn trumpet sounding like a beluga whale calling its mate ..

:what::camby:

1930s? Music "progressed" since then? Rick Ross and Chief Keef are "progress" from Miles Davis or John Coltrane (who weren't playing in the 30s)?

You really need to understand what they're doing to appreciate jazz. Most of its like a freestyle cipher, these cats are playing off of each other instinctively and somehow making a coherent whole outta it. You have to be incredibly skilled to pull it off.
