who cares if you like him
his catalog speaks for itself
if he had no part in his music how come nobody else has done what he's done?
Jay has the same resources
Dre has the same resources
Puff has the same resources
Swizz has the same resources
but somehow Kanye is the only one that creates albums that all sound different
U crazy Nas stans must live in some type of bizarro world.I agree, I mean Reasonable Doubt is my favorite hip-hop album. But even that’s become a footnote in Jay’s legacy. I’m not sure what it is about Jay or his music that has his career being washed away over time. Maybe it’s how much he emphasizes his business moves that makes that side of his career more prominent than his music. Whereas someone like Nas, who keeps music as the core of his brand, still has Illmatic mentioned as the holy grail 30 years later
name 1 solo kanye song he wrote or produced.. post the album credits
how come Consequence hasnt made any music on par with Kanye w/o Kanye?
or Rhymefest?
So what? Most artist best shyt is their first shyt.I like quite a bit of Jay's music he's dropped over the years, but IMO the uncomfortable truth is Reasonable Doubt was his apex in regards to quality from head to toe.
breh youre just arguing to argue at this pointname 1 solo kanye song he wrote or produced.. post the album credits
rofl again comparing mr i love hitler to rick rubin or quincy jonesbreh youre just arguing to argue at this point
I already said Ye is a producer that has a vision and puts it together using other people.
Just like Quincy and Rubin

I’m not sure what makes you think that.Reasonable Doubt being forgotten by the mainstream and reduced to being listened to by old heads and young, history-minded gatekeepers would be a huge stain on hip hop's credibility as timeless music if you ask me.
Don't forget about "Ether"
