I'm not gonna blame this on the coordinators doing interviews during the bye. But both called shytty games tonight. And while Glenn has an excuse (multiple starters out, losing his best CB on the first defensive possession of the game, etc), Johnson has none. If I was a team like the Bears or Raiders I'd be concerned about what was shown tonight. Very emotional, very stupid play calling. Lots of "fukk you" calls. Including the game changing call of the night: that 3rd and 1 decision to be in shotgun, despite Gibbs dicing Washington up to that point. Goff fumbles, Washington scores and the pacing of the game never really left their grasp. We should have been up 14-3. Sure maybe we still lose but that type of lead while Washington can't stop the run....this was our game to win.

I'm not making a "we beat ourselves" argument. Much respect to Washington. Just saying Ben Johnson shat the bed and I look forward to him getting the fukk out of Detroit.

All I really came away with is that BJ is a psychopath (which the bears need, so many milquetoast coaches come here) and ya'll put up 500 yards and the defense couldn't stop ANYTHING and Goff sold.

I'm not concerned fi they decide to go with him. BJ or McCarthy is fine :manny:

Dan Campbell looked like he was about to cry. Seems like he knows this might be the beginning of the end. Goff faces uphill battle winning back that locker room and his confidence could be shot after a loss and performance like that.

Yes he does. It’s Jared Goff. Dude got exposed by the Texans and again by us. That’s why you don’t give players like Goff, Cousins, Tannehill extensions until you absolutely have to. The move would’ve been to wait until this off-season when he would’ve been a free agent, offer him a Baker Mayfield deal or let him walk. Now they’re stuck with him and that huge contract.

Right. Everyone is highlighting the trick play which was dumb situationally but fukk it theyve been doing head ass shyt like that for years now.

Goff was fukking terrible. accounted for like a 17 point swing by himself.

Easy to win when you play with a bunch of allpros and all you need to do is pass the ball 12 times. He's trash and get's treated as such. His receiver reading books on the sideline cause he know his QB ass. AJ asking for a trade after the rams end yall season tomorrow.

I wonder if he's thinking about last year cuz that was his best chance. Had too many injuries this year on D. Even if they won today, they would have gotten rekt down the road. Can't win Chips with suspect defenses.

But he sabotaged his team last year so he should be feeling bad about that season. More than this one.

Guys like Jared Goff lower the ceiling of your elite offensive players.
From a skill/talent standpoint there’s little to no difference between Goff and Sam Darnold.

This is exactly what Cam Newton was talking about…game changers vs game managers
