Sounds like he’s gone based on reports today. Good.

People clown the Philly tush push but the takeaway for me is that Philly’s coaching staff understands that keeping the offense on the field is the most important thing. If it’s 3rd and 1 you don’t fukk around, you whip out the play no one can stop and keep the chains moving. What we saw last night was an outright refusal to do that. 3rd and 1, up 7-3. In the red zone. They can’t stop Gibbs and instead of running we go empty backfield. That was the game to me.

I’m just stunned that this dude showed his ass like that. People will point to all the yards we had against a bad defense but who cares man. That game came down to situational football on a handful of plays and our guy was playing Madden instead of securing the win. And I truly believe it was emotional. Washington leaked bs on Johnson last offseason and he wanted to rub their face in shyt.

Niccas' ain't even that goofy in Madden these days lol

That's the problem though, can you trust him to play up to level for 3-4 playoff games straight to win a Super Bowl. The playoffs are a different game than in the regular season. You're playing better defenses that are more schemed up to stop your strengths. I wouldn't be willing to trust Goff to not revert to his bad ways when facing adversity. QBs get exposed in the playoffs. He's a solid QB, not saying he's trash. I just think there is a ceiling on where a Goff lead team can take you. They could've won last night if they didn't have all those turnovers even with the bad defense.
Also he regularly has 1-3 games a season where he completely falls apart and turns the ball over multiple times. This year it was the Houston game and Washington, but he was also shaky in the first two games of the season.

He basically wavers between taking his reads and not. That Jamo end zone INT…he had a guy wide open for the first down. When he’s taking his check downs this team is very hard to beat. He got frazzled and I think a major part was us abandoning Gibbs. If you just feed him the ball and control the clock while taking targeted shots…

You want the great white hype aka baby jesus our savior out of Detroit? :lupe:
And I hate how these dudes get crowned. There is no real evidence that he’s a leader of men or could be a great coach. He’s an inventive OC who enjoys creating crazy new plays in the lab. He doesn’t care about situational football. And we’ve never seen what he looks like without a good or elite o-line. You taking that risk as an owner? I’m not.

Maybe he gets in the perfect situation and balls out. But if these Raiders rumors are real? Good luck.
