He's still a very good NFL Quarterback

He is being pushed into the top five or even the elite convos, which must be done after tonight. That's what I'm saying. Most QBs that are generally considered top ten would put on a better showing and probably win this game, even with all the defensive issues and playcalling, because of how stacked the team is.

But I was told you need 5 years to rebuild

There isnt really any such thing as a ‘long’ rebuild in todays league. And Denver certainly doesn’t come close to it. Roster-wise their floor should be .500 and it wouldn’t have surprised anyone to see them make the playoffs. On paper they should have easily been 2-0

Ironically I said that about Denver last year and they, too, made the playoffs with their rookie QB
