Can the Wizards reach the NBA record for most losses in a row?

Will the Wizards lose 28 games in a row?

Ok. If those were his imprints, then he's doing a good job so far

But on the 2nd bolded, that's really not how you build young stars. They have to spend to get veterans on the team to help mold the young players, and create a winning culture.

Portland got - Jerami Grant, Robert Williams, Thybulle
Orlando Magic brought in KCP and Gary Harris
Houston Rockets are the best example. Brought in VanVleet, Steven Adams, Dillon Brooks, Jeff Green. And look how it's paying them dividends

If they don't do this, they are will continue to go nowhere
If there’s one thing I dislike is that they didn’t get anything for Porzingis

And what they did get (Tyus Jones) left for a minimum deal in PHX when we coulda got more 2nd round picks to play with

But other than that the modus operandi is different in DC and I’d rather have this clear direction.

And if they don't get veterans on the team to get a winning culture, the franchise would be in the exact position in year 5

Understand now?
The risk of becoming Detroit is real. It’s why Troy Weaver is now in DC as an advisor not running a team.

If that happens, Dawkins would be gone but it’s too early to judge. Ted Leonsis is notoriously loyal and is willing to be patient now. He’s ceded all basketball decisions to Michael Winger.

They did sign vets like Valanciunas and got Brogdon in the trade for Deni. They’ve been helpful for Sarr and Carrington.

I can't even imagine the amount of air punchin raw dog and coke binges Ted went thru before completely signing off on a real rebuild :russ:

For those wondering, the record is 28 straight. They would break the record if they lost all the way through to Jan 5, 2025 at home against New Orleans.

Here are their games up to that date:

Sat, Dec 7vs Denver Denver7:00 PM
Sun, Dec 8vs Memphis Memphis7:00 PM
Fri, Dec 13@ Cleveland Cleveland7:00 PM
Sun, Dec 15vs Boston Boston6:00 PM
Thu, Dec 19vs Charlotte Charlotte7:00 PM
Sat, Dec 21@ Milwaukee Milwaukee8:00 PM
Mon, Dec 23@ Oklahoma City Oklahoma City8:00 PM
Thu, Dec 26vs Charlotte Charlotte7:00 PM
Sat, Dec 28vs New York New York7:00 PM
Mon, Dec 30vs New York New York7:00 PM
Wed, Jan 1vs Chicago Chicago7:00 PM
Fri, Jan 3@ New Orleans New Orleans8:00 PM
Sun, Jan 5vs New Orleans New Orleans6:00 PM
All those teams going to be playing their ass off not to be the team that loses to them.

So they won’t be breaking the record I see at least two wins if not 3

They should be able to pick up one of those Charlotte games. New Orleans is a possibility too depending on who's healthy for those games. Rest of that stretch looks brutal for them.

I've lived in the DC area for about 6 years now, and they are the worst franchise in the history of sports.... need to just eliminate them and move them to Las Vegas or Seattle.
