1. Contrast is key. Light top, dark bottom, light shoes. Dark top, light bottom, dark shoes. You want a good amount of contrast among the three.
2. Avoid tops that are too close to your skin tone. It makes you appear pale and washed out. Read this article for a more in-depth explanation.
3. Stay away from tonal outfits (all three pieces being the same color, or close in value). It can be pulled off successfully, but also has the possibility of looking kind of terrible. It’s a more advanced style concept which we’ll cover in a different article.

Yeah the detail on the skin tone was written for pink people but the concept still applies.

Different colors are better suited for different skin tones. If you are dark skinned (I am), you can run the gamet pretty much with colors: cool tones, warm tones, earth tones, and muted bright tones.

Complimentary tones, clean and classic lines with a good fit pretty much looks sexy on most Black men to me.

Women's clothes have shapely cuts and fits. Necklines, waist rises, hemlines, etc. all designed to accentuate and/or disguise female curvature. When men are wearing clothing that mimics this, it feels feminine.

All of these would fit me well. I'm not tall or large and I don't have much of a waist line. So I'm fine with it. I don't think I've ever seen a woman where those.
