Classic American, English, or Italian fashion is what I mean.

You should be set.
Clothes that fit and aren't too ostentatious/loud.
Don't wear True Religion jeans.
Wear timeless clothes.

Very good advice. New Yorkers have great style from main street to wall street. Cali has its own style. I'm definitely a cali boy and I incorporate that into the way I dress.

Women's clothes have shapely cuts and fits. Necklines, waist rises, hemlines, etc. all designed to accentuate and/or disguise female curvature. When men are wearing clothing that mimics this, it feels feminine.

If not, get some proper leather mens shoes and a pair of slacks...with a relaxed cuff and a nice basic sweater/shirt Lon sleeve...don't have to spend much.... think Club Room or Hilfiger.

Get a winter parka and be done with it.

If you are a herb or,loser...it will not matter what you wear like,others have said.....

Generally clean and tidy is better than fake and corny like the picture you posted.....it looks like u we're trying too hard to be Vineyards but those shoes are awful...unless u r gay

Simple fix. Keep the dress shirts. Swap out jeans for pants. Don't ever wear argyle sweaters again. Buy cardigans. Wear them with t shirts and pants.

Keep the shoes. Buy some Asics Tigers/Vans Old Skool/Vans Aunthentic.

Buy the tightest pants you're comfortable in. Invest in scarfs, sun glasses, beanies, and other cool accessories.

That's a solid ass day to day. Cheap too.

Nah I'm straight. My family Vaca's in the Hamptons a lot so that kinda influenced me.
