Since were on the topic:

What is the best set of clippers for a black man to shave his head bald like twice a week?

I don't mind price, but I still want the best deal:whoa:

Also, if there are not any adjustment to be made to the clippers, that would be great. Like right out of the box, close shave on a bald head.

Getting a haircut twice a week is too expensive. And I have brought the cheaper Andis or Wahl clippers from Walmart before, but they don't seem good or durable enough. They always end up breaking or not cutting as sharp. I'm sure a lot of that has to do with me though. And I don't want to have to "freak" the clippers. I just want a quality pair that I can give myself a baldy with twice a week

You are not even going bald?

okay , 1 review comparing the edging capability isn't a full reveiw of the clippers.

Bevel clippers are for multipe uses , one of them is fading , which you're not going to do with outliners. so i think you have to take that in account, you have a clipper that can do the trims and the fades which is why it's $200

T oultiner is specific for edging, so of course it's gonna be better - but try fadingwith the outliner. You have a choice and i think Bevel has a good proposition , now maybe version 2 will be even better.

So basically the feedback on the trimmer AND the razor set is its way overpriced and not even as good as some competitors :martin:

It's sucks that bevel is banking on the hive mentality of black folks and price gouging the shyt outta us
But Tristan got white investors to pay back :manny:

the razor set isn't overpriced for addressing a need of black men with razor bumps.

the trimmer isn't overpriced if it takes 3-4 clippers and put them into one. Not undrstanding your points here.

I never knew this. I don't think I've ever seen anything in their marketing to state such. Not saying you're wrong, but they need to have their marketing reflect that it's a multipurpose device.

Nah I'm bald and I need to shave it twice a week, sometimes three. People's hair grows at different rates breh.

But to answer the dudes question, just use a razor.

I use it in the shower, no gel, just soap and water. Don't let these companies fool you into thinking you need anything more than that. I've been doing it since I was 16 and my shyt smooth as a motherfukka

For anyone that shaves their face/head and suffers from razor bumps try the above foil shaver (wahl makes a similar one too)

Cuts just as close as a razor (going with the grain) does without the bumps or irritation

Edit: forgot to mention that it only cuts stubble, so if ur hair is too long you gotta cut it down close as possible with a trimmer first

this still gives bumps, foil shaving can still irritate skins. I read many reviews of people saying it gave them bumps and rash...i go on youtube and saw monstly white guys using this. there's nothing here that prevents hair being cut at an angle which cuases ingrown hairs.

what Bevel provides you is instrutions and education to help prevent ingrown hairs. Prepping the skins, lubricating the skin, cutting at the right angle, and finishing the skin are important.

Lemongrass, cherries, alkaline water
I prefer the fast feeds because they are lighter and don't get hot as fast(rotary motor). The only thing the masters has over the fast feeds are lines on the side of the lever.

But I said fukk it made my own lines on my fast feeds so I could keep track or where I'm at with the fading.
I prefee the fast feeds as well. Especially since i got the white ceramic blade to zero gap them, cleans up lines on tapers nice

I buy and resell them and my cousin does too.

Its a decent side hustle.

Man, i have never successfully shaved with a razor. I have tried damn near every technique/method, to the point where I said never in my life will I put a razor to my head.

I'm not gonna say it's not possible, but it just hasn't worked for me. I was in the mall down here a few months ago in one of those shaving stores, and they were trying to tell me that I needed a real weighted razor and all the other shyt they sell in those shaving stores. shyt was kind of high. I said I might try that as a last ditch effort, but I doubt it will work.

I think part of it, is just that my skin is sensitive. I have been to the barer before (when I rocked a fade) and got my haircut by the same barber as my boys, but I was the only one with marks on my neck from the clippers. Just this Monday, I got my beard lined up at the barbershop and the next day, I had scars where the lining was. This shyt happens every time.
