yeah the same kentucky who almost beat georgia
nikkas love to bring up that kentucky game like maxwell smith wasn't injured the next week and didnt play again the rest of the season

kentucky with maxwell smith and without him was a totally diff team this year.

Almost don't count for shyt, UGA beat them nikkas. The BCS rules are stupid and aren't rewarding the best teams in the country.

The thing that sickens me in march for the ncaa tourney everyone loves to see the Cinderella team, the underdog
VCu, George mason, butlers etc knocking off the big dogs

But in football whenever a Boise, a tcu, a Hawaii, Utah, niu cats are up in arms

Anybody know if the MAC has revenue sharing? Or does Northern Illinois get to keep all of that 18 mil?

They don't get 18 mill
It's only 8mill, only bcs conference schools get the 18mill

And the 8 mill is split amongst the bowl eligible teams of the mac

It's why when Nevada beat Boise two years ago and southern miss beat Houston last year it cost their conference 8 more mill in revenue

Did some more research

Bowl payouts can seem like big money, but TCU and other bowl-bound universities only receive a portion of the revenue.

Last season, every university in the Mountain West Conference shared in TCU’s Rose Bowl payout, associate athletics director for internal relations Jack Hesselbrock said.

In addition to its share of the payout, TCU was paid for playing in the bowl. TCU also received a percentage of the revenue from other Mountain West bowling schools, he said.

So yes it is an $18 million payout. However the non-AQ conferences "agreed" that half ($9 mil) would go to the conference represenating which would be the mac this year and the other half would go to the other 4 non-AQ conferences.

Better explanation

i think they'll travel well. small schools that don't make it to big bowls usually pack the place cause they never know if they'll go again
This and as small as NIU is, they have a rabid fanbase so they may show up. Even tho their allotment of tix that they need to sell is basically a sellout in their own stadium. Oh well :yeshrug: more tix for FSU fans who want to go to South Beach. Me, I won't be anywhere near that travesty that I'm expecting

25,000 is small?:thefucc::wtf:

In their defense, the MAC was probably the best mid major conference this year, shyt they are probably better than the Big East at the moment

Wisconsin is 7-5 yet they once again in the Rose Bowl, but no one complaining about their wack ass

Two things.

Wisconsin is much better than their record would indicate.

They got in by default. It's not their fault OSU is on sanctions.

Look for them to give Stanford fits. Should be a good game.
