Can DR. Dre even be considered worthy of his "legendary" producer status?

while dre is considered some type of legend which I kind of always thought he was how can he possibly deserve that title? the more i look at "his" beats the more i realize the probability he didn't make ANY of them. it's a known fact that scott produced a nice amount of the beats dre stamped his name on so i'm sure there are more producers he had in his pocket completing tracks for him while he sat around doing nothing and just listened to the final record and decided if he should put "produced by dr. dre" on the song credits. Looking back now i see how eminem would talk about dre's genius in the studio in interviews when really he was just bullshytting the public and being courteous to the man that signed him. What did dre even do if anything? We all know he can't write a song and has no shame rapping a ghost written verse no matter how obvious it is....3 kings comes to mind

1. Show us the fact that Scott Storch produced any Dr. Dre beat, and after that explain why all dre's beats are better than his.

2. Dr. Dre schooled all these kids on production, everyone who worked with him got schooled by him.

3. He can't write lyrics that's it, he was a very dope rapper though. Dope flow, delivery, performer etc.

Straight Outta Compton, nikkaz 4 Life, Doggystyle, 2001, Chronic, No One Can Do It Better
besides the full albums he made the beats to and produced, which are probably 5 out of the 20 best produced albums of all time.

He also produced other full albums, not made the beats (even though he made a few on them) but his production skills as in terms of the classic definition of production is untouched as well.

i think i'll take the word of people who have actually been in the studio with Dre & seen him work over some guy reading credits & internet rumors. the fact that people seem to knock Dre when they have beef then change their tune when they make up seems suspect as fukk to me. everything i've read from actual credible people says that Dre DOES do his own work and that he is one of the most generous producers when it comes to giving proper credit for co production etc

Read what Cool and Dre had to say about Dr. Dre and "Hate it or love it".

They said the track that came out sounded nothing like what they produced, theirs was amateur and the Doctor completely flipped it and made it what it was. Then he let them still get the production credit for it.

That's just one example.

Lets stop this shyt. Just cause he's not doing much now, it doesn't take ANYTHING away from the quality he's provided in the past.

Dre one of the most overrated cats in history of rap.....

dude make a album every 10-15 years and the leg work is done by others(producing/beatmaking, rapping, and writing) that MF'er better make damn near classics everytime out with so much time given to produce and so much help and resources

that's a young persons way of looking back. Dre was already a producing legend before he even did the Chronic just of his work with NWA, Eazy E, and DOC. After that and Doggystyle he was absolutely a legend. That's albums worth of material before Eminem or any of these dudes he's doing albums with now made it out of their mother's basement.
