Nah, if anything it strengthens the case because of similar figures at that time doing similar things, but they weren't Jewish....

Apollonius of Tyana - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

...or, the prophecies disqualified them....

This is what I believe:

Specter of Reason: Theological Noncognitivism, Redux

Anything you infer other than what you read in that link, unless I state otherwise, is pure supposition.

K. It suffices for now and explains more than enough. Tender all disagreements to the author.

well, no it doesnt. In the second sentence it poses two options: God does exist, and 2. God does not exist...

This bias ignores the option of Gods exist, probably because the author subscribes to a monotbeistic religion, likely one of the Abrahamic cults. The fact that his whole argument is fatally flawed before he even presents an argument shows that it does not suffice and explains nothing.

Furthermore trying to show this being with an argument rather than in reality is even more fatal than his initial unforgivable mistake.

hmm Start with the Bible. Christianity did not start in the NT and the title Christ was given to Y'shoua ibn Yosef of Nazareth. The word comes from the greek chrisei meaning to anoint or smear, which in Hebrew is ha mashiach (to smear, anoint.) The OT clearly provides us with evidence of anointing, and thus the origin of christianity. Here are some examples from the OT.

1 Samuel 16:13 - Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.

Leviticus 8:12 - And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.
