I turn 36 this year and I have a sudden urge to enroll in a karate class..

I don't know what type of athleticism you have to start with

but you can definitely learn a ton and get into the best shape of your life with 3 months of muay thai

There are a lot of them in NYC

and a ton in philly

some good ones in atlanta

I know of several black owned ones

hard to find a US city without one tbh

Is MMA essentially a realized/real life Jeet Kune Do (minus the "illegal" moves)?
