This is beyond wrong and pure stupidity.

Black's didn't just magically gain stability in the 50s and 60s without help.Anyone that believes the fairytale that we isolated ourselves into prosperity are fools.Does supporting Black owned business, getting educated, and promoting wellness in our community make sure we rise on the socio-economic totem pole? Sure, but there has to be a catalyst for people to "gain consciousness" and "wake up."
I don't think we should align ourselves to Liberalism til the death but I don't account for the future or past, currently their platform serves us and our community in it's current state.
"benefits were small in comparison to the economic and political advantages that whites received. Most unions excluded blacks from joining. Enforcement of anti-discrimination laws in the South was virtually impossible"
That's from the link you posted.
you're far to anxious to argue over this shyt. Calling me names because I don't agree with your misguided notions. So we aligned with other ethnic groups during the New Deal?? You know what.... nevermind... I'm not gonna waste my finger-typing power arguing back and forth . You're borderline c00ning at this point. Have more confidence in the abilities of your own community (assuming you even are black).
