do white people get to take advantage of this as well......? because if it isn't for black people only, not minorities - black people specifically, then she is not one of us..... i'm voting for trump because we've voted for dems long enough but they still do not have a black only agenda... get back to me when the dems' only priority is black people....

:what:This is the shyt a Democratic government is SUPPOSED to be doing, yall dumb, low- expectations having ass mf'ers.

No, the regular benefits of citizenship don't count as "tangibles" cuz they giving that shyt to the illegals too.

Shut your goofy ass up. If Trump wins this shyt is not happening. And it is "tangibles" you clown, during the pandemic working class Black folks were getting the biggest tax returns that they have ever gotten. Kamala Harris want's to expand that. No one is arguing that this is reparations.

Black people don't get excited about getting tax returns :patrice:

Raising the Earned income Tax Credit from $600 to $1500 for people without kids.

$6,000 tax credit for first year of kids life.

$3,600 per child under six years old and $3,000 for older children up from $2,000

And that's not to mention a $50,000 for startups

$25,000 home buys assistance credits?

How is not giving working class Black folks more money not "tangibles"?
I won't benefit from those, so you're going to be hard pressed to get some people hyped about it.

It's not a black-specific tangible.
Tangibles for ADOS/FBA are centered around reparations.
Kamala said she would not do something that would solely benefit black people.
I'll save the video, it's made enough rounds.

A both sider take...
A tax refund is a guarantee if you make under a certain threshold.
Whether or not Kamala wins, all Americans with a W-2 makin' a specific amount gotta refund comin'.
Kamala's expansion a selling point for votes.

:manny::manny::manny:
Her opportunity economy sound like expanding thresholds for everybody to benefit from what they already benefit from.
To me that sound like raising taxes on almost everything to provide for everybody, I don't agree to raise taxes to expand what we already get.
If I'm wrong educate me. I ain't been keepin' up with this election cycle.

Just because you make a wish list doesn't mean Santa Clause is gonna deliver it the way you expect.

These are all good ideas, but the problem is going to be the government saying they need tax revenue in the future. Where is it going to come from?
she said she intends to push for a reversal of trump’s tax cut and a raise in the corporate tax rate.

Black Self-Sufficiency
Here is my take on it. All of those promises is pissing in the wind, when the Democrats do not have the votes in the Legislature to enact them. Also, I would be remise if I did not also point out that the Democrats have a history of promising things they know they can not enact.

The above being said, what can she really promise to do that has a decent chance of being accomplished?

1. She can promise that if the opportunity arises, she will replace Conservative Justices in all branches of the Judicial with Liberal Judges. (I am a firm believer in the need for there to be Balance between Conservatives and Liberals. Right now, the Judicial Branch is leaning too heavily Conservative in my opinion)
2. She can also promise that she will not support bills that continue to support the Genocide happening in Gaza. (It really is just simply the moral thing to do, since genocide should never be supported).
3. She can also promise that she will use executive actions to strengthen the border and lower the influx of illegals that in turn push a downward pressure on low to no skilled labor wages. (One of the reasons' why you see some low-wage earning men actually supporting Trump or are undecided, is because of this issue. You remove this issue, you increase the possibility that those undecided voters move to support your side).
4. There are more that is within her power as a president to do, but I will leave these 3 as a start.

I am not swayed by promises that I know are nearly impossible to keep. I am swayed by promises I know the candidate has the power to enact. Since I know she has the power to nominate Supreme Court justices, court of appeals judges, and district court judges I am voting for her; understanding that the US Senate normally accepts and confirms those candidates.
