Idk if y'all ever pay attention but looking at his interviews, listening to him talk, etc.

Juelz was never destined to be a star. He's one of them simpleminded type nikkas that was satisfied with money, drugs, jewelry and p*ssy. He don't have the hunger
I agree with your prospective of juelz..

I agree totally with a lot said here that juelz could have been huge. I don’t know if he could have been peak Wayne in terms of popularity, but it would have been close. He would have had New York backing him though, vs Waynes origins so maybe he could have got there. He was huge, what the games been missing really connected with early 20s and teenagers then (I was 18 when it dropped)… however, it was over by 09 to be a megastar, he didn’t ride the wave.

For your post and to relate to it, he just did not have the drive. He went as far as Camron pushed him, and then when you 24/25, that was the age he needed to take his career into his own hands (and it had to be that way), and he just didn’t.

I cannot think of lasting star (nevermind megastar) that didn’t want it. With juelz mental makeup, his career ended up the way it was meant to be

Let me rephrase that...

Fab didn't want to be a superstar so he didn't work as hard as he should have to take his career to the next level.

I call it lazy, but if he didn't want it, then he was content with his career

Nah you were right the first time, Def in the lazy category, had all of the access to excel higher too compared to cats that were nicer that didn't have as much.

He did though, he just didn't have any direction on what or how he wanted to release. Even Cam said Juelz brother told him he had hella songs he just wasn't dropping anything

That just goes back to how much Cam was really pushing these dudes because without him you can see they wasn't really trying to be rappers(with the exception of Jim)

Juelz had plenty of ways to drop tapes...

You're telling me that he couldn't drop some tapes on MixUnit and sell em for 7.99 a pop independently???

Even Cam knew how to hustle

The music not the problem..

It's the confidence..

Boy teeth were/are finished and them raps weren't gonna hit the same when them videos dropped..

I'm not gonna say he'd be Hov or Wayne level but he would have been the next big NY rapper if he had a work ethic. Especially at that time with the Wayne connection and the way he was dominating everything (mixtapes, albums, white boy hipster appeal, streets, chicks, etc). Just a colossal bag fumble that altered his entire life.

And for the record I've always been a Dipset hater but Juelz def had bangers. If he had been able to come out in 2008 with the right backing and a proper album...the lane was wide open in NY. 50 was basically finished, Jay was taking challenges from Wayne. Nobody else really mattered in NY at the time and Juelz was still young so he def could have gotten at Jay while dropping a huge album.

He was going to be a megastar I don’t know what you brehs are talking about, he already had hits behind him at the age of 19, he was part of one the biggest and most influential rap groups of the early 00’s.

All the girls lovedd him(which is really the key point) because artists like Drake have literally built their success on the back of a female fanbase, Juelz has the ladies in the palm of his hands, he has everything to be a superstar, he was aligned with Wayne for a reason.
Cam set him up something lovely. Juelz killed his Double Up feature and I even fukked with Juelz on All The Chickens. Then had him on Oh Boy and Hey Ma. Set him up for super stardom and he just squandered that shyt. Always made me wonder if Cam was writing his rhymes early on or something cause his shyt turned garbage.
