Jay-Z is the face of the team. He is the face of the move to brooklyn. The average person thinks its his team.
In Brooklyn, right across the street from Barclays Center there is a massive billboard with Jay-Z's face on it. He is also having like a week full of concerts as the opening celebration when the stadium opens.
Im not even a Jay stan but its a brilliant marketing plan for his brand. He hasnt really invested anything (less $$ risk) yet is still getting massive publicity/marketing/exposure by having his name plastered all over an NBA Team, being associated with a billionaire, and being the face of arguably the largest construction project in the city of New York.

There's no kinda about it. Camel makes no decisions for the franchise. The real owners gave him courtside seats, told his big lip ass to sit there with his pretty wife and let him know we'll call you when we need you. Hell, he couldn't even get his boy Lebron to sign with the team.
