I just got up on this "Myfitnness pal" app and started counting the calories I consume. It's crazy how many calories you can take in without even knowing brehs. Just by cutting out juice and sports drinks you can eliminate like 400 calories a day.

When you count the calories before you consume something you'll think twice about it if you have a daily calorie limit in order for you to lose or maintain weight.


I know this is old to y'all but this app works.

Yup when you see a snickers is 200 calories and you ran for 30 minutes and only burned 150 it puts things in perspective.
Repped!!!! Real shyt bruh! I be on the treadmill and see how long it took to burn 300 calories, then I be like fukk that cup of juice I was planning on drinking because that shyt don't be worth the amount of work it took to burn those calories.

It makes you more conscious about what you put in your body. It's easy to lose weight if you think about it that way.

I notice when I eat protein like I’m supposed to (180-200 grams from lean sources) I’m less tempted to eat bullish*t

Breh! I wish everybody knew this shyt right here. It would not be such obesity out here if people knew that one thing but instead they be eating hella chips and hella french fries and wonder why they can't lose weight.

Simple protein like chicken that's not fried and broccoli could have you full for a long time until your next meal.

When you are intaking healthy fats like coconut oil/mct you have less cravings as well. Stress-relievers like 5-htp, l-theanine, gaba help with that too because most our cravings for sweets come from us trying to raise our dopamine levels. This is the case especially in the black community (who are probably the most stressed) that’s why we tend to have more cases of diabetes.

Liquid calories are the biggest culprits in weight gain. A bottle of soda being like 380 calories is equal to a whole meal yet people will chug 2 or 3 a day not even thinking about it
I didn't even know juice had so many carbs in it :snoop: I was drinking minute maid or simply lemonade with each meal and was thinking I was good because it wasn't a Sprite or some other soda:snoop:. Now I either drink water or I'll have a Bai (Justin Timberlake drink).

Yeah this is why i cut out sodas and junk food. I got skinny fat was like 200lbs now im around 179.
Repped....but this is why women are jealous of us. All we gotta do is stop drinking sodas and leave the junk food alone and the weight falls off while they gotta work that shyt off.

True i did start regularly doing cardio also. Turned 32 this year I was like gotta stop playing or I will get fat lol I didn't want that.

True i did start regularly doing cardio also. Turned 32 this year I was like gotta stop playing or I will get fat lol I didn't want that.
I do cardio 5 days a week but my bad diet was out working my cardio/strength work. Now I'm back to where I need to be in regards to my diet.
