+ Vast, expansive state full of millions of thing to do
+ Marijuana friendly
+/- Very liberal, relaxed state, can be a pro/con depending on the person
- Extremely high COL
- shyt traffic in dense, populated cities like LA

+ No income tax
+ Lower COL
+ Good weather year round, can get extremely hot
- Anti marijuana state
- Red state
- lower paying jobs
It depends on how you want to live, and what stage of life you are in. Me personally, I'm not sold on either place. Cali is great but rent and everything else is sky high. Texas is cool but they hate weed and the pay is lower for my job field.

Summer literally goes from May to October and shyt is triple digits and you get no seasons whatsoever.
As someone who lived in Texas all their life and then went to Massachusetts for a few years, I miss that shyt.
