There is a big chance Mayweather goes to sleep.
I'm sorry but no.
Floyd has never been out in 49 fights, You can't possibly think no one in these 49 fights had at least as much power as Conor.
He does not pose any threat to Mayweather, especially since Conor has shown himself to rely on counters a lot these past fights, and I don't think anyone can say he's a better counter boxer than Floyd.

We don't know. That is why it is an interesting match-up that many people want to see. If Floyd was a risk taker and the UFC wasn't greedy, it could actually happen.
We do know though, it's pretty obvious.

Also I think the fight is a publicity stunt from Conor more than anything else, he's too smart to think he's got a legit chance against Floyd, he just wants to get his name out there as much as possible, and what better fighter to do that with than the richest of all.

It is not going to be easy for Mayweather. The chances of him getting knocked out are there. Conor is taller with the reach advantage, and the power. There is a big chance Mayweather goes to sleep.

The big disadvantage for Conor is that he doesn't have the conditioning. He hasn't shown that he can go 12 rounds.

The busiest fists in the world have went entire fights not landing one clean punch but a non boxer can? Conor doesnt even have a punchers chance

Nevada won't give him a license lmao

Las Vegas is the Mecca of boxing lmao, they won't sanction this fight

a gold medalist can't turn pro and get a fight with floyd for his first fight lmao anybody who believes this fight is even feasible is a moron

I agree with you up to this point, the reason people see this as feasible (although unlikely) is because green speaks louder than any individual especially in Vegas. Every UFC fan and most boxing fans would watch this fight, just need the numbers to add up to the point where Floyd can't turn it down (he's thinking about generational wealth and outgoing his own numbers). If Conor would take 5MM as a prove it opportunity and Floyd could take home 500MM this would be different conversation.

Still about money at the end of the day

Again, we don't know. Therefore, anybody can say anything and no one will be right. This is why the fight needs to happen. This the fight that the whole world wants to see, and if Floyd was brave, he would make it happen, but he obviously doesn't want to take the risk.

If this fight happens it will be the biggest money maker in fight history. Why would Floyd leave an easy $100+ Million on the table and waste a chance to get an easy 50-0 and future movie deals?

Floyd doesn't believe that McGregor is an easy pay-day, he knows with is age and slowed reflexes, he would be one left hand away from a good night sleep. Maidana already made him do the chicken dance. Conor could put him to sleep.

The fight won't be that easy for Mayweather and Conor may get exposed also. We just don't know.

Floyd can't make this fight happen when UFC has to approved it:stopitslime:

Floyd can make it happen. The UFC needs money, and Conor is their big money man. They are not going to leave money on the table when they have a $4B debt.

If Floyd makes it clear that he wants the fight, the UFC will make it happen.

Youd sacrifice your big money man to bolster Mayweather Promotions? That's retarded. I'd only loan Conor out to WWE to ensure I continue to get Brock.

If Floyd wants the fight, the fight will happen. The UFC is not opposed to the fight, they just know that Conor has to go through them.

The ball is in Floyd's court. If he is serious, he will talk to Dana, and they will make it happen. There is just too much money on the line to pass it up.

Dana said in interviews that Floyd should holla at him [Dana] if he is serious about the fight. But Floyd was just doing it for a publicity stunt. He knows the fight is not that easy.

Every fight Floyd has ever had is easier than Conor McGregor. But yes, it is a publicity stunt, Floyd is fighting Manny.

That's what people say, until the unexpected happens.

The great thing about sports is that predictions don't mean anything. The competition needs to happen, and that's the only way of knowing.

Sports is like science. You can make up all the theories and stories you want, but at the end of the day, you have to prove and demonstrate your theories.

Sh@t needs to happen, or it is just speculation.

Based on your Logic, Randy Orton can go to the UFC and have a chance against Jon Jones because "Anything is possible, you never know". What we ALL know is Floyd Mayweather is this era's best Boxer and arguably the top 3 best defensive boxers ever beating other elite level boxers (sometimes 15-20lbs heavier thn him fight night). Connor McGregor has 0 experience as a Professional Boxer w/ out any amateur experience along with being embarrassed by a Top 20 guy in sparring. He's an accomplished MMA fighter with good skills in that realm, but it doesn't parlay into being a successful boxer because of examples that have already been given (poor footwork, no defense, no jab, terrible stamina..and again NO EXPERIENCE). They're both using the media to their advantage and the media keeps feeding into it. Both Connor and Floyd know this.

Breh that's all you've been doing this thread and you have yet to comment on that McGregor boxing video.

Mcgregor is good at what he does, but they're is no way he wins with a year of training. Just YouTube any video of upstart youngins wanting to try old heads doodes, young cats get put out on they ass by 50 years of experience and :flabbynsick: body's.

In a recent question and answer session in Belfast, McGregor shot down the naysayers that doubt he could be competitive in the boxing world, specifically addressing Floyd Mayweather and Paul Malignaggi.

“With the work ethic that I have, focused solely on the sport of boxing, there’s no telling what I could do (in boxing). I would not go in there just to show up, I’d go in there to knock (Floyd Mayweather) out, and that’s it.”
