The heights

This has to go down But I'm kinda at a point of where Caleb might be Russell Wilson or Joe Burrow in term of Taking a lot of sacks Each season, but 70+ sacks in one season is ridiculous and that's mostly on poles :snoop:

Breh the shyt is crazy :dead: They really think if Jayden was here he would be doing the same shyt he doing in Washington the Bears are so dysfunctional at the moment damn near every QB In the league would struggle
I do think Jayden would be shining anywhere, hes just that talented & special it seems
the Commanders were considered a dumpster fire before he showed up too

you guys are flipping Jayden > Caleb into us saying Caleb is a bust, or no good - I dont think anyone is insinuating that here (maybe elsewhere) (Ive been a huge Caleb supporter since day 1 and still am)

simply put, we missed on what appears to be the better QB -- Im not saying the same thing about Bo Nix even though hes having a better season than Caleb, Im saying it about Jayden because hes simply more talented & dynamic than Caleb and Im struggling to understand why this wasnt more obvious to the front office that is well compensated to make those determinations

Caleb has had A LOT of things working against him here with coaching and to a lesser extent the OL, but I dont think it completely absolves him of his shortcomings. Hes a rookie, so its reasonable to expect he'll improve but Id be lying if I didnt expect him to be better than what we have seen. The weak deep ball, not seeing open WRs, accuracy issues and the sacks / holding the ball are have been rough. Hes got more to improve on than I had expected

if he can balance all the sacks out because hes consistently making big plays down the field like those guys, we can live with it

right now hes simply holding the ball too long and its not helping to create big plays. I did not expect such a lack of big plays down the field with Caleb, it might be the most disappointing aspect of his rookie season for me (holding the ball was almost to be expected)

I mean hes shown he can make all those throws and then some ones only a handful of guys can make as well. Issue is the consistency.

I really hope they go out guns blazing on sunday to at least create a modicum of good vibes. What is there to lose

Fields won more games than Caleb because when the shytty line broke down heā€™d just run for 200 yards. Its not because theyre of equal QB skill.

Also the Bears strength of schedule in 2023 was 27th. Bears strength of schedule in 2024 is 5th. That bullshyt kept Eburflus his job :snoop:

I generally like you, and unlike CHICAGO, you can actually string a sentence together that doesnā€™t look like it was drawn in crayon but ā€œI think Jayden would be shining anywhereā€ is fukking nonsense when ā€œanywhereā€ includes the team we all cheer for which is historically the most QB killing team in the history of the league.

Heā€™d be dogshyt here. The idea that Caleb is putting up the numbers he is a small miracle.

BEARS HAVE THE 6TH FEWEST DROPPED
PASSES IN THE LEAGUE.

Ive watched every game they may have the 6th fewest on paper but definitely not most timely ones. Its been a ton of drops on 3rd down ending drives.

Allen has been good but hes also good for a couple easy drops a game too.

While yā€™all hating on fields I just want to point out he was in a worse situation with the bears than Williams

So just remember that when yall complain about how Williams was set up to fail
