There's so many things adding up to me that say they overestimated Caleb's understanding of the offense.

Caleb had Flus, Waldron and Poles eating out of their hands. They were like, this kid really has it between the ears, he eats sleeps and breathes football. He answered all of the questions so well throughout this draft process.

Now I'm thinking about how fast they reversed that decision for not scripting plays and I'm laughing remembering how the center got caught on the hot mic earlier in the year screaming, "WE'RE fukkING HOT MAN" after Caleb checked into a play that would have got him decimated.
But even with that said, Waldon still deserved being fired because if I'm coaching any sport and a kid is missing reads and calling plays at the wrong times consistently, I'm revoking those privileges
