Youre trying to maintain white supremacy but im a c00n? . This is obviously over your head, lol.

Ask yourself, should men have to be clean shaven to be considered "professional" given that many black men have issues with bumps?

Do you think this rule was created with us in mind to or did it only consider white men and what made sense for their hair type?

So you want to rock your durag at work, huh?

Clown ass nikka:mjlol:

The gang affiliation excuse is BS, just ban all non-religious head wear and that would have been ok.

Personally, I think all public schools should have uniforms like in Asia. No head gear, no flip flops, no sexy attire. School isn't a fashion show. We need education now more than ever.

Wearing headwear indoors is bad taste most places (your momma should have told you) and not allowed everywhere else.

people trying to put "freedom fighter" narratives on to insignificant things. :mjlol: Younger brehs wear the rags more as a fashion statement than to get waves.

Ive seen kids in the morning rocking them with dreads and high top fades :mjlol:

I really be wondering where y'all nikkas grew up at. Where the fukk they allowing kids rocking durags in class? :dwillhuh:

I'm from NYC, a place known for and notorious for durag rocking, and they NEVER allowed that shyt in classrooms. Not even the mostly and all Black classrooms.
Brehs coming straight outta duckberg to look like they activists or whatever

Once again let me put your lame vicariously living through a cartoon ass lame game. It is a hair accessory. It lays down coiled hair that has not waved yet. Most find that coiled hair when not groomed and waved unruly :mjpls:

This is school not a business. Like breh said in a previous post you can wear sandals, pajamas, hoop shorts in college. It’s about learning not being professional. This ain’t even college. When there’s a lot uniform rule that says no scarfs, headbands, scrunchies, hair ties, all that other bullshyt then I’m down with a durag ban in high school

The mental gymnastics being done in this thread to make these kids look like Geronimo Pratt is fascinating to say the least. You can't make this sh!t up. Glad you mentioned the fashion statement aspect of it too, cuz you never see dudes rock the old school stocking cap in public. I felt like that was more effective for waves than the durag when I had hair. My waves spiraled and rippled like a hurricane when I was in high school and fresh out. Every now and then I'd leave the house with the stocking cap on. Had the little twist at the top looking like a bum in hindsight.

You really just compared religion based head garbs to a durag.

No fam... just no.

What's the problem with the comparison ? Just because they don't have some religious reasoning behind doing what their doing doesn't mean that it isn't culturally important. Always remember religion is nothing more than a strong Cluture.

Should Black men in Los Angeles not be discriminated against on a job interview in an office for wearing curlers in their hair? I mean it's culturally important to some of those brothers.
