There are two areas I’ve seen in my lifetime that one party has absolutely blundered, and they both occurred during this past election. There are plenty of things to not like about Trump, and there are legitimate discussions about economy, healthcare, etc. to debate about and disagree about. Some of those issues are a little deeper than just the surface.

The Democrats blew it on the border saying it was secure and not an issue at all, and that trans people should be in women’s sports and bathrooms. Those are two issues that anyone’s EYES and basic brain functionality could say was a lie/dumb. You can bullshyt your way and talk about the economy and other things, but those two issues were/are incredibly obvious and have made the Dems look moronic.

Its obvious newsome is eyeing a presidential run , the question is can he get through the primary, this positioning and trying to pander to the whims of right wing hasnt generally worked well for the democratic politicians, its better to lead with conviction not poll testing

Even if he doesn’t win the primary, he’s at least creating room for democrats to pivot on this issue. Its overdue.
