Yeah, but honestly, they're fighting a losing battle. This country will only get more diverse.
They got to compete with international competition for jobs, colleges and higher positions based on merit.
Military more diverse than it's ever been.
Red states are the most expensive to live in.
Etc.
The funny thing is those Conservatives actually in power want to keep it that way. As long as they keep having poor white folks vote them in they'll keep racking up the bill and blaming immigrants so they can get votes. Anti-Racial/LGBTQ/Women issues are their biggest selling point to get them into office time and time again.
The country getting more diverse is the Conservatives' Golden Goose.
They do away with immigrants and their voters are going to start looking at them and discover it's their spending that has made their lives more difficult (like why Red States are the most expensive while having low quality of life).
Conservative politicians have basically figured out the play to dupe their voter base and are exploiting it every time. It's the path to easy money and a royal lifestyle. They live off the play "Label it the Boogeyman" > never fix it > get votes. No different from Military spending or the FDA.
