Cac’N America and Black Panther Tchaka battling Nazi’s in 1943. Game looks pretty good.

:yeshrug:I think it’s needed why shoot through all them hoops. When you could just recast, especially since the stories they’re telling are T’challa’s.
just lacks creativity. Erases Chadwick from continuity for no reason. We have muliverse stuff going on, endless ways to write him out of the saga and write someone new in. Don't see a need to lazily recast instead of jumping through hoops if you do it right. The actor that plays his father in flashbacks is still young, why not grab him from an alternate reality instead bringing in a new actor.

But i digress, i don't wanna derail

Just 5 main ones that i'm familiar with,
T'challa
T'Chaka
Azzuri
N'jadaka (Killmonger)
Shuri

There is also the first black panther they mention of in myths but i haven't seen him appear in comics just mentioned.
And i think there were some alternate earth scenarios with random people donning the suit.
Bashing actually had a comic mini series

The game gon suck. Plus why is Tchaka looking more slim like Tchalla? He is actually more bulkier than Tchalla. Tchalla has the build of a WR...Tchaka the build of DE or OLB

That's Azzuri breh.

In the Marvel universe, T'Chaka's death is in 2016, so he would have been born around 1950. You've spent 3 pages angry about the wrong character.

I didn't think they needed to recast. Could've just told a story like this. Flashback to 1943 with his grandpops. Come back to the present later when his son is grown.

I'm pretty sure the actual people who worked with Chadwick and were part of that experience together were still dealing with his death and wanted a movie that reflected his family dealing with the real journey of mourning that results from losing such a major figure in their lives, rather than just, "Oh, sorry your brother/husband/son died, here's a replacement that isn't him but looks close enough!"

I expect they'll bring in a multiverse T'Challa at some point in the future, perhaps even in the next sequel.

No I havent...Bashenga is the 1st black chieftain. The one that united the major tribes of Wakanda. The 1st one adorned by Bast.

:yeshrug: Chadwick himself wanted a recast. He believed that the roles he took on were bigger than himself, and the role of T’Challa was no exception.

None of your links said that - it was other people hypothesizing that he "would have" wanted a recast. He knew he was dying, if he felt that strongly about what he wanted them to do with the character, he could have just told them.

But you're missing my whole point, which is that I think they WILL recast him and they WILL bring back the role. Just not in the very first movie, cause the first movie was destined to be about dealing with the mourning process of losing their king and not just glossing over that shyt.
