CEOs don’t care about console wars breh.

Record breaking revenue but ima fire them cause online fanboys are complaining

Yall nikkas crazy :mjlol:

On the contrary sony wining the console war and fired their guy.

Again ima let you try to make sense of that reality :hubie:
So you’re just going to ignore that their hardware segment is imploding? Just talk up their alleged successes that are really just built of publishers they purchased? I know you can clearly see what’s going on with hardware. They put that out just to do worse than the Xbox One which did worse than the Xbox 360.

This isn't console wars and fanboyism like you'd like to pretend it is. They are literally performing worse on hardware than their own previous efforts and that's due to leadership and the decisions they made.

According to the people with the numbers demand is in the mud for all console hardware.

There’s been zero growth in the market for like 25 years.

Yes, xbox is in 3rd. But the market itself is what’s imploding.

You guys are still fighting the console war, when that doesn’t really matter anymore. Sony is missing their hardware sales goals too, while discounting the hardware to the point where they’ve tanked their own profit.

But none of that matters cause they sold more than xbox right??? :smh:

Who cares if they purchased them or not? That’s just some fanboy excuse shyt. Money talks. Xbox is making more money than ever.

Even on the hardware side of things, actual engagement is the healthiest it’s been ever.

It is fanboy shyt. Because you ignore everything else just to talk about the things that support your position.

Everyone is performing worse on hardware. Sony lost some 70 million customers from their best performing hardware.

But again, that don’t matter cause they sold more consoles than xbox :mjlol:

It’s not some fanboy shyt. You need a competent executive team that makes decisions that grow your business. You are equating organic growth of the business to M&A growth which are two different things. They can’t just keep buying publishers as their numbers start to wain.

It matters whether or not the original business they had is growing or in decline. If it continues to decline the Microsoft CEO is just going to push them to peruse a different business model that shows more promise.

That is clearly as a third party publisher where their hardware sales are irrelevant because their own hardware doesn’t exist. Going third party would mean Game Pass is phased out.

As a Microsoft shareholder I would prefer they do that. As a video game player I would prefer they didn’t.

Also you trying to muddy the waters on Xbox hardware issues as a video game market issue is laughable. Xbox hardware decline is far more and accelerating.

Which is why microsoft CEO is happy with xbox executives right now. Xbox has grown in a big way, and is still getting bigger :ehh:

There’s no such thing as “organic” growth. That’s that fanboy shyt you stan’s made up. :mjlol:

The xbox business is growing. The CEO seems very happy with it, which is why xbox execs got promotions.

What happened to Jim Ryan again? Seems his CEO wasn’t happy with winning the console war at the detriment of actually making money.

Crazy how that works huh??:mjpls:

Nope. Revenue was up and breaking records before activision.

As a Microsoft shareholder I would prefer they do that. As a video game player I would prefer they didn’t.
Shareholders seem very happy with microsoft’s recent moves.

Sony investors pulling out in droves.

Crazy right. I guess investors don’t care about console wars either :ehh:

Nope. Last numbers said playstation sales were down around 40% yoy and xbox was around the same number.

Again sony has LOST more customers than xbox has EVER had. Thats the facts :manny:

This is what happens when your parent company gobbles up a gaming company 4x’s the size of your own gaming division. Someone said before the activision merger went down that ABK would be running Xbox soon and thats whats going to happen.

If you look at xbox’s financial you would think it was ABK that bought Xbox. My prediction is Phil is out by the end of the year, and they slowly start replacing the xbox management team with ABK’s.

Microsoft probably got one look at the revenue a “bad” call of duty made (MW3) and looked at the rest of the gaming division earnings and made the call.

And yeah, they’d be stupid to put their number one revenue generator into a dying subscription service in order to boost subs. It would be as short sighted as making COD exclusive to save xbox console sales. They spent too much money on COD to devalue it now. They put themselves in between a rock and a hard plaace

They need to just rip the band aid off asap with this whole cod gamepass thing.
So according to Sony Stan gizmo, he said after spending $70 billion that it would be dumb to give us, the gamers more reasons to flock to their service. They should not put it in Gamepass, and they should charge everyone $70 and not put it in Gamepass

Is that how a consumer thinks
:stop:
Or is this nikka a Sony plant of sorts :patrice:
He don't give a fukk about you, the consumer. Don't fall for it Coli...

Why haven’t they fired Phil yet ?
He’s the one making them buy up studios this whole time?
Did he single handedly mess Xbox up or what?

Phil knows if gamepass fails he’s done and thats what his true legacy will be. Just like Mattrick with his TV TV TV (even though phil was running xbox game studios at the time) phil will be known as the MoviePass guy for gaming

Thats why they won’t just take this shyt out back and put it out its misery.

Its hard getting fired cause there's so much cronyism up there. Bonnie Ross oversaw the destruction of the golden goose in Halo and she was untouched until basically 2023.

If people want him booted they just gotta make the noise. Mattrick got the French treatment for his idiocy. Spencer just survives public ire due to his social "I game too" relatability. Truthfully he should have been yeeted when the Series consoles were being devised. Or when he sent that "my career moment is buying Nintendo" email.
