What point is he making? Black people would have been shytted on, regardless if the president is white or black, because we live in a system of white supremacy. Before Obama won in 2008, every president has been a WHITE male. Now this fukking c00n wants to argue that we need a white president to set things right??

:what:

I don't agree with that.

What I think his point is, is that Obama is somewhat shielded from being constructively criticized in the black community (or in general) as a result to the sensitivity of his race and/or ancestry. It's almost a distraction to some extent.

I happen to agree with him for the most part.

My only disagreement is the idea that having a white president is the only solution that problem.

That post is probably 80% reasonable and 20% c00ning, or 100% c00ning depending on how you look at it.

Are you talmbowt black folks who are on TV? cause I've seen/read criticism from black correspondents. From Larry Elders to Cornell West, not to mention Tim Scott, Herman Cain, Ben Carson, Mike Steele and Allen West
I even heard rappers talking shyt about the president

Honestly, the main difference in criticizing the president revolves around whether you want to ignore the unnecessary political game that must be played inorder to get shyt done in a broken system. A system that is run by big business, lobbyist, and career politicians

I've heard in person and read online alot of black folks say, "what have he done for black america?"

EDIT: I forgot about Pastor Manning

How has Obama been shielded from anything when these republican extremists hinder his every move and prevent his agenda from moving forward? Obama is under constant assault from right wing fanatics that don't even believe he was born in the USA simply because he's black and has a Muslim-sounding name. Being black hasn't been a distraction. If anything, the fact he's black has made it impossible for him to be taken seriously by the white political body he's attempting to work with.

Those are are all black Republicans (exception being Cornel West). Few if any of the black majority democrat listen to what they have to say. As far as the black majority voting block is concerned, they are simply an extention of white republicans who they presume to be inherently "racist" anyway.

I still agree with the author's main point, more often than not, criticism of Obama's policy decision making is often wavered and distracted by deeper social issues regarding the sensitivity of his race.

you're free to disagree. IMO criticism of Bush was presumably based on his decision making. Obama's "criticizers" are criticized themselves, a luxury that Bush never enjoyed.

And rightfully so, considering their critisicm is baseless and largely reactionary. There are no substantive counterpoints to much of his platform. It has merely been reactionary drivel motivated by race-based hatred. Bush deserved the mockery, for squandering Clinton's surplus with those disatrous tax cuts and throwing us into two needless wars. When you show me substantive reasons for disagreeing with the pillars of Obama's legacy, you'll have a point.
