What does that have to do with anything? What would’ve happened if x or y didn’t happen is speculative and not even relevant to the point, really.
We’re talking about the ethicality of Obama intervening to influence the outcome result. Whether he was successful or not is beside the point.

Here is the thing about candidates like Bernie:
- I think they can present a platform that would appeal to average people and would move the country in the right direction
BUT
- I just can't see someone like that winning. When I look at what happened to Jeremy Corbyn in the UK (absolutely destroyed by the media, not to mention his own party), it becomes clear to me that the powers that be just won't allow it. I am sure there is some sort of scenario and some sort of climate under which a true leftist could win, but I just can't conceive of what it would look like and how it could happen.
